Bally Bands play at NSSWE Spring Music Festival

Over the weekend, a number of ensembles from Bally’s Band Program played at NSSWE’s Spring Music Festival in Chatswood.

The Junior and Senior Concert Bands played on Saturday to a full Chatswood Concourse Concert Hall. Starting off the first half of the concert, the Senior Concert Band played rousing renditions of a Rolling Stones Medley and Selections from Sing, conducted by Mr Robertson. The Junior Concert Band started off the second half of the concert with high energy performances of Enter Sandman and More Cowbell, conducted by Ms Stokes

The boys played brilliantly, received huge applause from the audience and enjoyed watching the show!

The Stage Band and Jazz Orchestra closed out the Sunday Jazz feature of the festival. Attracting a large crowd of friends, family and passers by, Bally’s Jazz ensembles proved a hit! If their performance at NSSWE is anything to go by, their feature at Manly Jazz will be brilliant!

A huge thank you to Julian and Mr Robertson, who gave up their weekend to have the boys performing, as well as Ms Stokes who organised the performances and conducted Junior Concert Band as well!
