Welcome to Bally Boys
Balgowlah Boys Secondary College is an amazing school with dedicated staff who truly care about our boys, listening to them and guiding them toward educational and vocational success. The Bally Boys P&C has a strong partnership with the school, bridging the gap between the school and parents.
As parents, we all want to help our sons grow into young men we can be proud of. High school brings new challenges, encouraging our boys to be independent, self-manage, and take responsibility. With less daily contact, the P&C has created a To-Do list to help you stay connected!
1.Get Involved! Join the P&C Meeting
When: 2nd Tuesday of the month, running Term to Term
Time: 7:30pm
Where : The Staff room. Come in through the school office and head to the back of the building. We are a friendly bunch!
Stay informed and have your say—join the P&C for just $5! Sign up online today.
2. Stay Connected! Follow Us on Socials
Like us on the school’s Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/balgowlahboys , the P&C’s Page Balgowlah Boys High School P&C Association and join the community page Balgowlah Boys Parents Community
3. Stay Updated! With the School Newsletter
Emailed to you two or three times per term, the school’s newsletter highlights the many achievements of the boys and keeps you up-to-date about future plans and events.
4. Stay in the Loop with In The Loop!
Keep up to date with all the latest news and events from the P&C by receiving our In The Loop newsletter, fill out this form and check “Get P&C News”
5. Keep in Touch! Update Your Contact Details
The school will contact you via email, text, and Sentral. Please keep your details up to date with the front office.
6. Fuel the School! Support the Canteen
The P&C runs the canteen, a key fundraiser for us—support it whenever you can! The food is delicious! For more details or to volunteer, visit our Canteen Page. Your son’s Flexischools card will be set up by Term 2. In the meantime, he can use cash or EFTPOS.
7. Join the Fun! Make the Most of School Activities
Encourage your son to dive into the exciting opportunities at school—join a sports team, band, lunch club, play chess, join the SRC, or try Drama! Year 7 is the perfect time to explore everything on offer.
8. Get Involved! Volunteer with the P&C
We’re always looking for volunteers! Fill out the Contact Information form to share your skills and how you'd like to contribute—whether you're all in or prefer a lighter involvement. All help is much appreciated!!
