We’re here to help turn good ideas into reality.
Good ideas can come from anywhere. If you are a teacher, a parent, a student or a community member with an idea for improving the school and especially the experiences of the boys, the Shark Tank is here to help.
As a P&C we have resources at our disposal.
We can help promote an idea, find volunteers and partially or fully fund initiatives.
Our P&C generates funds each year, through our canteen, Trivia Night and P&C levy. These funds are specifically used for helping the boys.
We have a database of parents, teachers and community members that enables us to promote ideas or ask for volunteer help.

Some Guidelines
Please explain the idea fully and how you think it will benefit the school and the boys.
Please tell us what you need and why.
Please tell us if you are also getting funding or help with this from any other source.
Please tell us when you expect this project to be completed. Please note, that unless otherwise agreed, funds not claimed within 12 months may have to be reapplied for.

How does it work?
We don’t want to be overly bureaucratic, but we want to make sure our resources are used in the best possible way.
Once we receive your submission, we take the following steps:
We assess the idea based on the submission
We get in touch if we need more information
We may invite you to present at a P&C meeting (held on the second Tuesday of each month during school terms)
We then send out an online voting form to all our members
After 7 days, we notify you of the result
For small funding amounts (less than $500), urgent requirements (if there is a good case), promotional support or requests for volunteers, we can often move much faster.
If this is a funding request, it will be assessed by the P&C Executive and we will be in touch about next steps and timings. Otherwise, we’ll get in touch soon to discuss how we can help.
