P&C Donates to support Bally Movember Initiative

Following a fabulous presentation by Carlos (Student Leader 2021) at our November P and C meeting we learnt of the initiative the boys are running to raise awareness of mental health issues at school and within society especially since COVID. The boys are running a fundraising sausage sizzle on Friday 13th November.

The P and C donated $1,000 to the Bally Fundraiser to cover the cost of the food for the event and the rest to go as a donation to Bally Movember. The boys also expressed concern at the loss of school counselling time due to a lack of counsellors and are keen for the teachers to be equiped with Mental Health First Aid training which the P&C will follow up
