Colin Cardwell
President

Colin joined the P&C in 2019 and became President in March 2021 having the previous year been the VP.

He has two sons at the school in years 8 and 9. Colin runs a software development business which makes games.

Colin is also a keen rugby coach and ex-player, a keen skier, a self-confessed nerd and a trained hypnotist. Loves a good dad joke. Well, any dad joke really!

Sue Jorgensen
Vice President

Sue joined the P&C in 2019 and became VP in March 2021 having previously held the Communications role.

She has a son in Year 9 and a daughter at University.

She has a background in Nursing and management and also worked extensively in Healthcare in a variety of roles including Asia Pacific Business Management.

She enjoys swimming, walking and Music and Cooking and Volunteers regularly at Lifeline.

Ann Collins

Ann has a son in Year 11 and joined the P&C in 2017. She has a background in project implementation and change management and is a chronic local community advocate. In particular she is passionate about protecting Manly Dam in her spare time.


Ann plays an integral part in managing the everyday running of the canteen and our staff.

Ingrid Gray
Treasurer

Ingrid joined the P&C in 2020 and became the Treasurer in 2021. She has two sons at the school in years 7 and 8. She currently works for a Fund Manager in the city. Before moving to Australia she worked for a charity raising funds for a children's hospital.


She enjoys reading, cooking and the beach.

Joanne Holley
Secretary

Jo joined the P&C Committee in 2020 and has a son in Year 8 and another at BHPS.

She is currently working in Funds Management and has worked as part of other P&C teams . She loves living on the Northern Beaches and is a keen Gardener and also enjoys reading, bushwalking, Mountain Biking and Skiing.

Hunter English
Innitiatives

Hunter English: joined the P&C in 2021 as the Shark Tank Coordinator and has worked with other Primary school P&C teams he has a son is in year 9.

He came from a hotel & catering background moving into procurement & logistics within the gold mining industry in the 90’s. The last 20yrs has been a career in facilities management across the tertiary education sector to now building management in the commercial real estate arena.

Dee Shackleton
Fundraising

Dee has a son in year 7 and joined the P&C in 2021. Her extensive career in Risk and Compliance Management and her work mentoring Young Risk Professionals sets the bench very high within the Industry and her multi disciplinary approach to problem solving will be an asset to the P&C.

In her spare time she loves hanging out with my two teenage sons, watching English comedy, rummaging through Op shops for a bargain, running, eating out, socialising and attending St Faiths church, Balgowlah.

Anita Tymkiw
Build a Better Bally

Anita started work on Bally futures projects in 2018 and has a son in year 9 and another Manly Selective.

She has a diverse background having worked in both Government and small business in the Science and Research Industries. She is also a Grant Writer and has been instrumental in obtaining government Investment in the upgrades of the schools facilities and grounds.

Bobby Lehane
Communications

Bobby joined the P&C in 2022 and has a son in Year 7.

He has a background in business and technology.

In his free time, Bobby is an avid swimmer and can be found most days at Freshwater Rockpool.

His “claim to fame” is having swam in every Rockpool in NSW, raising funds for Lifeline.

Karen Frost
Assitant Treasurer

Karen joined the P&C in 2016 as the Assistant Treasurer. As the P&C employ the Canteen staff, this role pays the Canteen staff on a fortnightly basis and assists in looking after their employment needs.


She has worked in Training & Development roles in both Government and Private enterprise and has two boys in the school, one in Yr 12 and one in Yr 11. She has volunteered in the P&C throughout her boys' Primary and High School years.

Sandy Hoy


Special Projects


Sandy has been a member of the P&C for 5 years since her son started Year 7.  In that time Sandy has reported on ‘special projects’ such as improving school-parent information channels, the Beaches Link Tunnel impacts, and the mobile devices parent survey results.

 

Sandy studied applied geography and urban planning at University, and runs an open space and recreation planning and community engagement consulting business.

 

When she is not planning for everyone else’s recreation, Sandy enjoys the local beaches lifestyle.Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
