2022 Kick Off - First P&C General Meeting

We were glad to see everyone back for the first General Meeting of the year, even if it was through a computer screen this time.

Principal’s update

Paul welcomed new year 7 parents and ran us through the latest school updates, including COVID measures, distribution of RAT tests and the recent upgrades to the Year 7 playground.

He also acknowledged the school achieved some amazing HSC results in difficult circumstances. Bally ranked 2nd of all comprehensive schools in the state. A high level of boys achieved band 6 results across all English levels, Chemistry, Business Studies, Geography, Maths, Modern History to name a few, with an average of 24% of students in this band versus 5% for comprehensive schools. Paul thanked the teachers for their efforts in achieving these results.
