The outgoing Government had agreed to spend between $40m and $60m on a significant upgrade to the school. This budget had been approved. It has now been confirmed that the incoming Government has cancelled that funding.
In this meeting, we are keen to explore what we can do to change their mind, with a focus on making sure the funding is in the next budget.
We are particularly keen for those who can volunteer to help start a sub-committee to come along
Mr James Griffin, our local MP is coming along to the meeting to outline what he has done so far, what he plans to do and answer any questions from the community.
