Building Fund Campaign

We have some great news to share with you. Recently, the Future of Bally Sub Committee, along with the Principle, managed to secure a commitment from the Department of Education to undergo a large maintenance programme for our school in the next 3 months.  

The other good news is, we can take advantage of this opportunity to make additional upgrades to our classrooms and transform some of the very old buildings on campus, plus reduce costs, while the builders are on site. However this will require an additional, special contribution from you towards the school building fund. 

As you know, Balgowlah Boys School is growing and demand for a place here has peaked. It’s an exciting time but we must make building improvements to expand and accommodate this growth. Our top priority is to create a learning environment that our boys enjoy, this means it needs to be modern, comfortable, spacious, inspiring and safe.

It sounds ambitious but our funding target is $50,000 from our school community by the end of 2019. Please can you make a special building fund contribution so we can reach our goal by this date. Your tax-deductible contribution will go specifically towards the building fund.

 Any donation you can make will be gratefully accepted and your son will benefit from any improvements made to our campus.

 Here are some inspiring examples of what the pure generosity of parents has funded in the past year; 100% of funds donated have come from your voluntary contributions:

 

  • A defibrillator for emergenices

  • 3D laser printers and a variety of woodworking equipment.  

  • Brand new equipment for our music studio

  • Ergo rowing machines for the Bally Rowing Program

  • New textbooks for the english department 

  • A new telescope and camera for the boys to study astronomy

  • Involvement in the Not-for-profit Bushlink Program

 WHAT YOU CAN DO

 If your circumstances allow it, please pay a contribution to the building fund. We will issue a receipt straight away. With June 30 just around the corner, now is the perfect time to make a contribution because you will be able to claim your tax-deductible donation immediately.

How much should you give?

  • As little as $50 will go along way to helping us reach our target.

  • $250 will have a big impact on the school.

  • $500 or $1000 will mean we should easily reach our goal together.

Remember, whatever you can give all goes towards making a great shool even better.

Place in payments deposit box located in the reception wall of the office.
